Circle City Street Fight
Deranged vs. C.J. Otis

This will be the third encounter for these two men as this feud has gotten pretty heated in a hurry. Deranged has worked hard and put his body through hell over the years to make a name for himself in the death match style. He has taken his lumps and EARNED his respect in that style. C.J. Otis came along and after his SECOND hardcore match, he proclaimed himself "The Death Match Destroyer." Deranged has taken great offense to this and has made it his personal mission to teach C.J. that he has to earn that nickname. C.J. pulled off a victory the first go round and in the rematch, they went to the floor and got counted out and needed to be pulled apart. This time, there will be no count outs, no pull aparts, no rules. This Circle City Street Fight will go a long way in giving Deranged his opportunity to show C.J. Otis what death match wrestling is all about.

Jimmy Jacobs vs. Drake Younger

Both of these men want to move their way up the contention ladder to get in line for an IWA World Heavyweight Title match. Drake Younger has been called the "future" of IWA and Jimmy Jacobs doesn't want to be viewed as the "past." The second longest reigning IWA World Heavyweight champion of all time realizes that the best way to get back into the title hunt and try to reclaim that prize is to beat the man that the fans consider the "future" of the company. Which man will take that one step to get closer to challenging for the belt they both covet?

"Serial Killer" Jack Thriller vs. Pat Tanaka

The former AWA World Tag Team Champion (Badd Company w/ Paul Diamond) and 1/2 of the WWF tag team The Orient Express will make his debut in Plainfield, Indiana taking on the Serial Killer. Tanaka thinks that his karate skills and sage experience will be more than enough to defeat the upstart master of the Figure Four. Jack Thriller is still riding high after defeating Jimmy Jacobs with the Figure Four and thinks that Pat Tanaka is just another overconfident veteran that is going to fall victim to the crippling style of the "Serial Killer."

Much more to be announced for this event in the coming days. Stay tuned to the message board in order to find out more about this event.

You can purchase your tickets by sending a $15 payment to Patti by going to www.paypal.com and sending payment to rottenwife@aol.com. Your tickets will be held at the door in will call style fashion.

IWA Deep South Wrestling
" 2007 Carnage Cup"

Saturday December 1, 2007
NICK GULAS SPORTS ARENA
(LOCATED INSIDE THE OLD ARMORY BUILDING)
634 EAST COLLEGE STREET
PULASKI, TENNESSEE

7 PM Belltime

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to change the venue for the 2007 Carnage Cup and move it from Alabama to Pulaski, Tennessee at the Nick Gulas Sports Arena. For our fans in Elkmont, it's only about a half hour drive to the new building and for fans coming from the north or those flying into Nashville it's about a half hour less of a ride for you to get to the new building. While we're at it, there is one more change to announce as JC Bailey will not be able to compete in this year's tournament due to personal reasons, but he has asked for us to give his slot to Scotty Vortekz. For anyone not familiar with Vortekz, he is a former CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion and has competed in the IWA King of the Death Match tournament, the CZW Tournament of Death and made it to the finals of the CZW: T.O.D. Fast Forward tournament. He is part of the new hybrid breed of wrestlers who can go in any style including high-flying, hard-hitting, and of course the death match style so he should be a great fit into this years tournament. We will have another update in a few days with the opening round matches, but for now here is again a rundown of the way the tournament will work along with the participants.

The tournament set up will be:

- The First Round will consist of four 3-way matches which will each
end when one man is eliminated and the remaining two men will advance
to the second round, so 4 men will be eliminated and 8 men will move on

- The Second Round will consist of 4 singles matches

- The Finals will be a 4 way elimination match

So there will be 9 big death matches making up this year's Carnage Cup.
The first round will be set up like the old CZW Best of the Best style
bracketing, but the difference will be in the second round where the
men who advanced from each match will not face each other in the second
round, they will face someone new so there will be lots of different
matchups throughout the tournament. The 8 men who move on to round 2
will basically be re-shuffled as we feel this will give fans the
opportunity to see many different and unique matchups.

Here is the list of men signed to compete in this year's Carnage Cup:

1. Drake Younger - this young man has been on a tear in the death match
scene all over the country over the last year and a half making it to
the finals of last year's Carnage Cup and winning this year's CZW
Tournament of Death. He is always an odds on favorite to win any
tournament he enters.

2. Insane Lane - another man who has been competing in death matches
all over the country and also a finalist in last year's Carnage Cup and
as his name implies, he is truely insane and willing to do anything to
win his first tournament.

3. Danny Havoc - if you've ever seen this young man, you know he has no
fear and is willing to put his own body through hell in order to win a
match. He has competed in several CZW Tournaments of Death and IWA King of the Death Match tournaments so although he is the youngest
competitor in this year's field, he does have lots of experience in the
death match world.

4. Sexxxy Eddy - the man who set the world abuzz at CZW's Tournament of Death 3 has said he is looking to reclaim his glory and wants everyone to know he was no one tournament wonder and is tired of everyone forgetting just how hardcore he can be. The Sexxx Express is coming to Alabama on a mission to reclaim the death match crown and take the Cup.

5. Tank - the first ever IWA Deep South Carnage Cup champion is looking to become a 2 time winner and has said he is training harder then ever for this one and taking time off from other promotions to get focused
and come in at 100% and destroy everyone in his path.

6. Ian Rotten - the "Undisputed King of Hardcore" has been locked in a war with FreakShow and IWA Deep South for the better part of the last year and would love nothing more than to take the Cup. Another thing to remember is that Ian will be retiring from wrestling a week after this show, so this will go down as his last ever death match tournament and I'm sure he will be trying extra hard to take home the trophy.

7. FreakShow - like mentioned earlier, he has been embroiled in a
bitter rivalry with Ian for most of this year and along with getting to
this year's King of the Death Match finals, he has been battling Ian in
some of the wildest matches including Fire Death Matches, No Rope
Barbed Wire 200 Light Tube Matches, Barbed Wire Cage Matches and much, much more, so he feels he is ready for anything come December 1st.

8. Viking - this man comes to us from the IWS promotion in Montreal, Canada where he has been tearing it up the last few years and is looking to make a big name for himself in the U.S. and what better way
to do it than by winning the 2007 Carnage Cup. If you have never seen
him, he is another man with no fear, willing to do whatever it takes to
win, whether that be knocking someones teeth out or smashing them with
light tubes or a barbed wire bat, this man is coming for blood.

9. WHACKS - many of you may only know WHACKS as the man who took pictures at ringside at CZW shows for years, but what you may not know is he has also been training on and off for years with CZW. Recently he has put aside his camera and been focusing on wrestling, and along with dropping 60 pounds and getting into tremendous shape he has been focusing on his training and anyone who knows him, knows he loves the death match style, so now he has the wrestling ability to go along with
his craziness and he is looking to make a huge impact on December 1st.

10. UltraMantis Black - now I know most of you are scratching your
heads and saying that must be a typo, but no you read that right.
UltraMantis Black, the leader of the Neo-Solar Temple is coming to IWA
Deep South on a mission. He is known mainly from his work in Chikara,
where they don't exactly have a "death match" division, but he
contacted us and said he has conquered Chikara and is looking to expand
and take over IWA Deep South and said in order to do that he wanted to
go right to the top by winning the Carnage Cup. He said although many
fans have never seen this side of him, he can get downright violent
when he needs to and said the other 11 men better not look past him.

11. Deranged - this big, violent hard hitting beast will be another man making his IWA Deep South debut at the Carnage Cup. He has been in countless death matches from Indiana to Japan and everywhere in between and contaced IWA Deep South officials and demanded to be in this year's tournament and officials granted him his wish as they, well honestly, were afraid to tell him no.

12. Scotty Vortekz - the last man in the tournament was handpicked by JC Bailey to take his place and although he has only been competing in death matches over the last year, he has already gained tons of experience and has reached the finals of the CZW Tournament of Death:Fast Forward show and has no fear.

There you have it, the 12 men signed for this year's Carnage Cup. We
feel it is a good mix of young up and comers with some of the death
match veterans which should make for some interesting and unique
match-ups as we're trying to give something different to our great
death match fans.

For any fans that are concerned, there will be no restrictions in the new building as far as the weapons go, as you can expect all the glass, barbed wire, light tubes and lots more craziness that you've come to expect from IWA Deep South. Also on that note, any fans that want to make up weapons or bring any weapons for the wrestlers to use, feel free to show off your creativity and bring it along.

"12 Men, One Night, One Cup"

The tournament set up will be:

- The First Round will consist of four 3-way matches which will each
end when one man is eliminated and the remaining two men will advance
to the second round, so 4 men will be eliminated and 8 men will move on

- The Second Round will consist of 4 singles matches

So there will be 9 big death matches making up this year's Carnage Cup.
The first round will be set up like the old CZW Best of the Best style

round, they will face someone new so there will be lots of different
matchups throughout the tournament. The 8 men who move on to round 2
will basically be re-shuffled as we feel this will give fans the
opportunity to see many different and unique matchups.

Here are your first round matchups:

1. Ian Rotten vs. FreakShow vs. Insane Lane - Ian and Show have been waging war all year long all over the country, so we figured on our biggest show of the year, why not let them settle it once and for all since this will be the last time they meet as Ian is retiring a week after this show. These two have tried to kill each other and I'm sure it will be no different on December 1st. Now the x-factor in the match is Insane Lane, as he has been friends and teamed with both men throughout the year. He originally joined with FreakShow to battle IWA Mid-South, but felt Show was taking it too far and had a slight falling out with Show over that and teamed up with Ian on some shows. However Lane is Deep South to the core, so it will be interesting to see where he stands in this match. This should be a fantastic first round match as all three men have been picked by fans to win the whole thing but one of them won't make it out of the first round.

2. Sexxxy Eddy vs. UltraMantis Black vs. Scotty Vortekz - this should be an interesting match as you have one man, Eddy, trying to show everyone that he is still one of the craziest hardcore guys out there and was no one tournament wonder...another, Vortekz, who is the young up and comer in the death match scene trying to get to that next level...and lastly, Mantis, who no one really knows what to expect from him in the death match world but with his Order of the Neo-Solar Temple trying to take over the world, I'm sure he will stop at nothing to conquer the death match world.

3. Danny Havoc vs. Deranged vs. Tank - this should be another classic as you have Tank, who won the whole thing 2 years ago...Deranged, one of the craziest and most hard-hitting guys out there who will do anything to win his first death match tournament....and Havoc, the up and coming death match star who gets better and farther each tournament he has been in, but he is giving up lots of size to the two behemoths he'll be in the ring with. This should be a good one.

4. Drake Younger vs. WHACKS vs. Viking - this match also kind of fits the mold of the other matches as you have the man with lots of death match tournament experience in Drake...the man new to the scene in WHACKS....and a man who the others don't really know what to expect from in Viking as he's been tearing it up in Canada, but is venturing into the U.S. death match scene for the first time. 3 men who fear nothing should make for another first round classic.

Will "The Walking Episode of Cops" be able to handle being in there with a woman that is so much bigger than her for the first time since she was maybe a rookie? Will all the death matches and wrestling all the boys prove to be more than enough to ready Mickie for the opportunity of a lifetime? What better named show than the Revolution Strong Style Tournament to have this match?

To our great fans,

We would like to thank you for all of the help you have given us the last couple of months as we have struggled to keep our heads above water. It is appreciated by everyone involved in IWA Mid-South.

We have decided that after holding the shows on December 7th and 8th, that will take a few months off in order to try and regroup and get back on our feet financially and emotionally from the ups and downs provided these last several months.

We plan on returning to our schedule of events in March of 2008.

We hope everyone had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving and hope that we seen you on December 7th and 8th before we take our break for the winter.

1.) Chrisjen Hayme def. Mike Stevens with a 450 Splash.

2.) Jack Thriller def. Jimmy Jacobs with the figure four leglock. Thriller removed Jacobs knee brace and worked him over and eventually got Jacobs to submit again to the Figure Four. Jimmy Jacobs cut a promo afterwards cussing at the fans that refuse to forgive him for trashing the IWA title and giving them the finger and promises Thriller that in a couple of months his knee will be fully healed and he won't need that knee brace and he'll get his revenge then.

3.) Bull Pain def. CJ Otis in a street fight, taking the place of the injured Deranged, with a frog splash. C.J. came out and called Deranged a faker and a coward. He puffs out his chest about going to Japan to train. Deranged tries to get to C.J. but Ian and Kingston and security hold him back. Ian tells C.J. that he has the night off with pay since Deranged is hurt. Jim Fannin cuts off Ian and says that there is no way that someone is getting the night off with pay and announces the surprise that Bull Pain was here to make C.J. pay his dues. 5.) Iron Saints (Sal, Vito & Brandon) def. Naptown Dragons (Dustin, xOMGx & Vortekz). To say that the crowd was behind Naptown Dragons in this one would be an understatement. Vito on the mic before the match talks about how the Saints are here to assert their dominance in the tag division in IWA by taking out all the Dragons. Missed much of the match trying to get caught up on results. Saints with a running triple mafia kick on xOMGx. Saints triple team xOMGx and work him over. Chops, crossfaces, full nelsons and suplexes. xOMGx finally makes the tag to Vortekz. Miscommunication between Vito and Sal gives Vortekz the advantage. Dragons lose control and Saints regain it. Double foot stomps onto Diehard and xOMGx and then Brandon with a 450 onto them for the pin.

Intermission

Drake is in the protective headgear to pad his injured ear. Ref tries to take cane from Sandman. Loud "Hit the ref" chant starts. I didn't see the match. Sandman swung his cane and Drake ducked and schoolboy for the pin.

Chris Hero w/ Boy Meets World on Steroids kid & Chuck Taylor & Mike Quackenbush in a 4 way elimination match but Chuck Taylor wins the IWA Mid-South Light Heavyweight Title in the process by pinning Mike Quackenbush. Quack on mic yelling at Chuck for Chuck saying that Quack hasn't defended the Lt. Hvy title since he won it. He says "untrue...I defended it all through a little thing called TPI." Hero and Chuck Taylor then reenact Quack falling on his head at TPI. Quack responds with "yes, Chuck, I fell on my brain and I still kicked your ass." Quack then says that if they pin him in this match and make the weight requirements, they can have the Lt. Hvy title too. Hero and Quack start off. Mat wrestling seminar being put on here. Quack wipes his sweat on Hero's towel and Hero's mad. Kingston then puts it in his tights and Hero can't stand it. It is now Chuck and Kingston in the ring. Kingston has control over Chuck until Hero hits and runs. We are now back to Hero vs. Quack. The seminar continues and we are back to Kingston vs. Chuck. Hero agains tries to attack Kingston from behind but this time Kingston is ready and headbutts Hero. Hero & Chuck doubleteaming Kingston. They hit a double dropkick on Kingston. They then double team Quack and then Hero turns on Chuck. "F*ck You Hero" chant from the pro-Chuck Taylor contingency in the crowd. Hero with a running dropkick to knock Kingston back to the floor. Quack with a palm strike and a running palm strike sends Kingston to the floor. Hero with an eyepoke and a stomp on the foot to Quack. Quack almost pins Hero with a fast rana off the ropes. Can't keep up with all the action. Chuck Taylor eliminates Mike Quackenbush and wins the Light Heavyweight title by pinning Quack. Taylor and Kingston going at it. Hero moves from a moonsault by Chuck and eliminates Taylor after a hangman's clutch/cravate and then drops him onto the mat in like a neckbreaker. Hero and Kingston and now tearing into each other. Chuck just left with the Light Heavyweight title so he keeps that title since Hero & Kingston are under the weight limit. Hero & Kingston are brawling through the crowd now. Hero is back in the ring and Kingston is injured out in the crowd. I didn't see what happened. Crowd chanting for Eddie. Hero is on the mic yelling "I don't care if you are hurt, be a man and get in here and let's finish this thing." Kingston is in and gets powerbombed but kicks out at 2. Hero blocks the backfist and hits a piledriver but Eddie kicks out. Top rope double foot stomp by Hero but Eddie kicks out. Kingston connects with 2 spinning backfists and gets the pinfall to become the new IWA MID-SOUTH HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Eddie dedicates this title victory to the memory of Chris Candido and to his former tag team partner Blackjack Marciano who retired due to Chris Hero. Too Cold Scorpio is in the ring to congratulate Kingston and to challenge him for a title match if Eddie is "man enough" to accept the challenge. Kingston tells Scorpio that he has megarespect for him. Kingston says that being in the ring wrestling Scorpio would be a great honor but not as great as BEATING Scorpio. Scorpio asks him to put the title on the line on March 1st at the 500th show.

9.) Hardcore Rumble Battle Royal- Rollin' Hard def. Corey Shaddix & Rough Tough Jimmy Clough & Freak Show & Insane Lane Rollin and Lane exchange hits with thumbtack bats. Rollin with double flaming karate chops onto Lane and Show. West Side slam onto Lane. Lane keeps trying to eliminate Show but can't get Show high enough to go over the ropes. Rollin' is whipping them with his belt. Lane finally gets Show eliminated. Freak Show then interferes to eliminate Lane and Rollin' Hard wins the Rumble.

10.) Mickie Knuckles defeats Ian Rotten.

- The match began with both participants sizing each other up. These two have wrestled each other and around each other so often that any slight mistake could cost one of them the match. After a few minutes of mat wrestling and sizing up, the match became brutal with hard forearms and punches from each. After a stalement, Ian and Mickie brought out the chairs and a bar fight began. The barfight is ongoing now...

Some stiff shots from each. Neither is holding anything back. Both are out of their chairs and getting force behind their shots. Ian lands a sick chair shot on Mickie's head. Mickie's down...she's hurt...sheeeee's dead...BUT WAIT A MINUTE! She makes a comeback but Ian lands a blow that sends Mickie to the mat. Ian and Mickie are on knees on the mat just continuing the beating on each other. Mickie is throwing some stuff headbutts. Lots of things, and then more things, have happened that have gotten "OOOOOH!"s and "AHHHHH"s from the crowd. The mass crowd is standing watching the brutality coming from these two, as both are busted open and giving everything they have left to beat the other down. The two are outside the ring right now.
The two got back in the ring and the brutality didn't stop. Mickie got the final blow in though, as she hits a kick to Ian's head as he was wearing a crown of barbed wire. The crowns of barbed wire were introduced as a head butt battle brewed between Ian and Mickie. Mickie went for the pinfall after the kick to the head, and 1....2....3. Mickie Knuckles ends Ian's career with a huge victory over her trainer and mentor.

Ian's in the ring saying his thank yous, and an emotional speech is ensuing.
