IWA Deep South returns on Saturday night December 1st at 7:00 PM to the Country Music Barn in Elkmont, Alabama with it's yearly death match
extravaganza known as the Carnage Cup.

This year's field will consist of 12 men, all hungry to become the 2007
Cup holder. We know there are lots of death match style tournaments
around the country, so we here at IWA Deep South are trying to be a
little different and you will be seeing some different competitors
mixed in with your hardcore favorites to make up a totally unique
tournament.

The tournament set up will be:

- The First Round will consist of four 3-way matches which will each
end when one man is eliminated and the remaining two men will advance
to the second round, so 4 men will be eliminated and 8 men will move on

- The Second Round will consist of 4 singles matches

- The Finals will be a 4 way elimination match

So there will be 9 big death matches making up this year's Carnage Cup.
The first round will be set up like the old CZW Best of the Best style
bracketing, but the difference will be in the second round where the
men who advanced from each match will not face each other in the second
round, they will face someone new so there will be lots of different
matchups throughout the tournament. The 8 men who move on to round 2
will basically be re-shuffled as we feel this will give fans the
opportunity to see many different and unique matchups.

Here is the list of men signed to compete in this year's Carnage Cup:

1. Drake Younger - this young man has been on a tear in the death match
scene all over the country over the last year and a half making it to
the finals of last year's Carnage Cup and winning this year's CZW
Tournament of Death. He is always an odds on favorite to win any
tournament he enters.

2. Insane Lane - another man who has been competing in death matches
all over the country and also a finalist in last year's Carnage Cup and
as his name implies, he is truely insane and willing to do anything to
win his first tournament.

3. Danny Havoc - if you've ever seen this young man, you know he has no
fear and is willing to put his own body through hell in order to win a
match. He has competed in several CZW Tournaments of Death and IWA King of the Death Match tournaments so although he is the youngest
competitor in this year's field, he does have lots of experience in the
death match world.

4. Sexxxy Eddy - the man who set the world abuzz at CZW's Tournament of Death 3 has said he is looking to reclaim his glory and wants everyone to know he was no one tournament wonder and is tired of everyone forgetting just how hardcore he can be. The Sexxx Express is coming to Alabama on a mission to reclaim the death match crown and take the Cup.

5. Tank - the first ever IWA Deep South Carnage Cup champion is looking to become a 2 time winner and has said he is training harder then ever for this one and taking time off from other promotions to get focused
and come in at 100% and destroy everyone in his path.

6. Ian Rotten - the "Undisputed King of Hardcore" has been locked in a war with FreakShow and IWA Deep South for the better part of the last year and would love nothing more than to take the Cup. Another thing to remember is that Ian will be retiring from wrestling a week after this show, so this will go down as his last ever death match tournament and I'm sure he will be trying extra hard to take home the trophy.

7. FreakShow - like mentioned earlier, he has been embroiled in a
bitter rivalry with Ian for most of this year and along with getting to
this year's King of the Death Match finals, he has been battling Ian in
some of the wildest matches including Fire Death Matches, No Rope
Barbed Wire 200 Light Tube Matches, Barbed Wire Cage Matches and much, much more, so he feels he is ready for anything come December 1st.

8. Viking - this man comes to us from the IWS promotion in Montreal, Canada where he has been tearing it up the last few years and is looking to make a big name for himself in the U.S. and what better way
to do it than by winning the 2007 Carnage Cup. If you have never seen
him, he is another man with no fear, willing to do whatever it takes to
win, whether that be knocking someones teeth out or smashing them with
light tubes or a barbed wire bat, this man is coming for blood.

9. WHACKS - many of you may only know WHACKS as the man who took pictures at ringside at CZW shows for years, but what you may not know is he has also been training on and off for years with CZW. Recently he has put aside his camera and been focusing on wrestling, and along with dropping 60 pounds and getting into tremendous shape he has been focusing on his training and anyone who knows him, knows he loves the death match style, so now he has the wrestling ability to go along with
his craziness and he is looking to make a huge impact on December 1st.

10. UltraMantis Black - now I know most of you are scratching your
heads and saying that must be a typo, but no you read that right.
UltraMantis Black, the leader of the Neo-Solar Temple is coming to IWA
Deep South on a mission. He is known mainly from his work in Chikara,
where they don't exactly have a "death match" division, but he
contacted us and said he has conquered Chikara and is looking to expand
and take over IWA Deep South and said in order to do that he wanted to
go right to the top by winning the Carnage Cup. He said although many
fans have never seen this side of him, he can get downright violent
when he needs to and said the other 11 men better not look past him.

11. Deranged - this big, violent hard hitting beast will be another man making his IWA Deep South debut at the Carnage Cup. He has been in countless death matches from Indiana to Japan and everywhere in between and contaced IWA Deep South officials and demanded to be in this year's tournament and officials granted him his wish as they, well honestly, were afraid to tell him no.

12. JC Bailey - the last man in the tournament is making his return to IWA Deep South after a lengthy absence and is one of the top death
match wrestlers in the world today. He is another man with boatloads of
tournament experience, has no fear, and is always a favorite to win.

There you have it, the 12 men signed for this year's Carnage Cup. We
feel it is a good mix of young up and comers with some of the death
match veterans which should make for some interesting and unique
match-ups as we're trying to give something different to our great
death match fans. In the coming weeks, we will announce the brackets
for the first round and some of the crazy stipulations for these 12
hardcore maniacs.

Saturday October 13th, 2007
Hartman Recreation Center
511 N. Collins Street

Bell time - 4 pm; Doors Open - 3:30 pm
Ticket prices: $20 front row; $15 general admission ($5 off if you also buy tickets for the 11th anniversary night show right after this show)

IWA vs. Elite Pro Challenge - Best of 7
ElitePro: Jason Hades vs. IWA-MS: "Pure Dynamite" Billy Roc

Two of the best up-and coming light heavyweights in the midwest will collide in what should be a fast-paced matchup. Billy Roc has already successfully defended the honor of IWA-MS against ElitePro, being a member of the successful 8-man tag team at the ElitePro Showcase. Jason Hades has broke out in both ElitePro and IWA-MS with his dreaded "Killswitch" finisher and has chosen to represent ElitePro in this special singles challenge.

ElitePro: "The Human Highlight Reel" Acid vs. IWA-MS: Chuck Taylor

Two of the best natural athletes in either promotion, Acid and Chuck Taylor are considered by many to be the faces of their respective promotions. Taylor is fresh off losing the IWA World Heavyweight Championship to Mike Quackenbush and Acid is ready to show the independent wrestling world that he's one of the very best in the midwest. This match above any other could be the "show-stealer" as both men are incredibly athletic and talented.

ElitePro: Dysfunction vs. IWA-MS: Ricochet

Dysfunction will represent ElitePro as their champion in this unusual matchup. One of the premier "hybrid" style wrestlers in the country, Dysfunction will have to find a way to ground one of independent wrestling's best high-flyers.

ElitePro: Kimberly Kash vs. IWA-MS: Mickie Knuckles

This is a rematch from the ElitePro Showcase, which saw outside interference from The Night Breed and J.D. Hughes. At the end of the match, Kimberly Kash walked out with the IWA MidSouth Women's Championship, a belt Knuckles prizes dearly. Many fans expected Kash to fold under the intensity of Mickie, but Kash showed she had fight and stood her ground. But as IWA-MS fans well know, if there's one woman in the world you don't want to cross, it's "The Walking Episode of COPS".

ElitePro: Team Taliban ("Prince" Arya Daivari & Jake O'Neill) vs. IWA-MS: The Iron Saints (Sal & Vito Thomaselli)

The Iron Saints are the proud owners of both the IWA MidSouth and ElitePro Tag Team Championships. But in this Best-of-Seven Challenge, they have decided to side with the promotion where they first broke out as a major independent tag team. They have assured Ian Rotten that they will wrestle the match as they always do, to win. For Team Taliban, this is an enormous opportunity for the two up-and-comers to score the biggest upset either promotion has seen in quite some time.

ElitePro: "The Real Deal" Jay Jensen vs. IWA-MS: Deranged

Two of the toughest men in their respective promotions, Jay Jensen and Deranged could very well be the hardest-hitting of the seven matches in the series. Deranged, known most for his work in deathmatches, has been impressive against so-called "strong style" wrestlers recently. Jensen prides himself on his toughness and this will certainly be a test of just that

ElitePro: "The Impact Bully" Brandon Thomaselli vs. IWA-MS: "Th Undisputed King of Hardcore" Ian Rotten

Many of the wrestlers in the IWA MidSouth locker room have long made mention of the fact that a young Brandon Thomaselli never got his "initiation" match into IWA with promoter Ian Rotten as so many of them before him had. With Ian retirement from wrestling just about 2 months away, time was running out for Brandon to get was has been coming to him for nearly four years. Not only must Brandon try to survive his first singles match with Ian Rotten, he must do what his brothers have decided NOT to do - defend ElitePro Wrestling.

Part Two of the Joliet, IL Doubleheader:

Saturday Night October 13th, 2007
Hartman Recreational Center
511 N. Collins Street
Joliet, IL
Bell Time: 8 pm; Doors Open at 7:15 pm
Ticket Prices: $25, $20 & $15 ($5 off if you purchase tickets for the IWA vs. ElitePro afternoon show for a total savings of $10 if you purchase tickets to both shows)

Some people have been wondering about the incident with Ed Chuman at the TPI and what our relationship with the NWA means to the Amazing Kong vs. Mickie Knuckles match. Ian called Ed Chuman this week to talk with him about still doing the match. Chuman told us that since we are no longer a part of the NWA, we could NOT have the match. Ian then got phone calls from the buildings in Plainfield, Midlothian and Joliet saying that Ed Chuman had called them and informed them that we no longer had the right to use the NWA insurance policy during our shows. With our current financial situation, we are not capable of carrying our own insurance. Ed Chuman called Ian and basically railroaded us into signing a 3 year contract with the NWA to remain a part of the NWA organization so we could still continue to run shows since the buildings would not let us run without insurance. Not only did we have to sign a three year contract with Chuman, we also had to make some other concessions for the NWA. In return, we get to have insurance and continue running shows AND we get to have the Mickie vs. Kong match at the Strong Style Tournament. We can not do it on this show due to contractual obligations that Kong already has. Enough with the depressing news, now onto most of the lineup for our 11th Anniversary show!

IWA'S 11th Anniversary Show

NWA World Tag Team Title Match
Joey "Magnum" Ryan & Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson vs. The Iron Saints

The NWA World Tag Team Champions will make a title defense at our anniversary show as the team of Ryan and Anderson defend the straps against the IWA Mid-South and ElitePro Tag Team Champions, Vito & Sal Thomaselli. Can the hometown heroes bring home the World Tag Titles in front of their home crowd?

NWA Midwest X Division Title Match
Jason Dukes vs. Ian Rotten

Ian Rotten is not your typical X Division wrestler but then again neither is the champion Jason Dukes. Ian decided that if he is going to be forced to put Jason Dukes onto IWA shows and actually have him in a match, he might as well make it a one time thing and take the match himself and kill Dukes. What better way to turn the tables on Ed Chuman after being railroaded by him than taking his title and destroying his "little friend" in the process?

Barbed Wire Boards/Barbed Wire Bat Match
Insane Lane vs. Freak Show

These former tag team partners had a falling out in Sellersburg, IN at "Beginning of the End" when Freak Show was trying to bring an earlier retirement to Ian Rotten after Ian dislocated his knee and was left defenseless in the match. Freak Show kept trying to attack Rotten and not let Ian get to his planned retirement in December. Insane Lane had finally had enough of all the hatred and animosity towards him due to his association with Show and refused to continue the beating. "We came here to win, not to injure him and leave him unable to provide for his wife and kids." With that statement and a punch, Six Feet Under was no more and Lane left Freak Show to fend for himself. Now Freak Show wants to "beat some sense" into Insane Lane and show him what a mistake he made. Will Joliet be able to handle this war?

Pinfalls Count Anywhere Grudge Match

Trailer Park Boyz (Josh Abercrombie & Nate Webb) vs. Milwaukee's Best (Dysfunction & Silas Young)

This feud is between Josh Abercrombie and Dysfunction and their partners have gotten involved mostly because Dysfunction cheats and Josh has decided to have his tag team partner watch his back. Will Josh & Nate win one for the Trailer Park or will Dys & Silas pull out the victory and make Milwaukee proud?

Deranged vs. Brandon Thomaselli

This one isn't a qualifying match for the Strong Style Tournament but it definitely could be viewed as a trial match for both of these guys to prove that they belong in the tournament. "The Impact Bully" Brandon Thomaselli broke Vortekz jaw with a forearm and well he prides himself in being a bully. Deranged wants to step into the strong style genre and prove that he can be just as devastating outside of the death match style as he is in it. Who will prove superior in this contest of hard hitting sluggers?

Roderick Strong vs. Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston is the defending Strong Style Tournament champion and is coming off an unbelievablely hard fought victory over Chris Hero at the 2007 TPI in a Last Man Standing match. Roderick Strong is undoubtably one of the toughest men in the wrestling business to go along with one of the hardest hitters. This matchup will definitely show whether Eddie Kingston will be a favorite to repeat in the upcoming 2007 SST.

B.J. Whitmer vs. C.J. Otis

B.J. Whitmer is a former Strong Style Tournament Champion, Ted Petty Invitational Champion and IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Champion. C.J. Otis would love nothing more than to have a resume that impressive. He has earned the monicker "Strong Style Superman" and wants to prove that fact to B.J. on one of the biggest stages in IWA...the 11th Anniversary Show.

6 Way Elimination Match

Devon Moore vs. Jason Hades vs. Justin Dredd vs. Troy Walters vs. Lucky vs. J.C. Ryder

Jimmy Jacobs vs. "Serial Killer" Jack Thriller

You can go to www.paypal.com and send payment to Patti at rottenwife@aol.com to purchase tickets for this huge day of doubleheader wrestling action in Joliet.

Remember, if you purchase tickets to BOTH events, you get a discount of $10 off the tickets so you can get general admission to both shows for just $20 or front row for $35!!!!

2007 Revolution Strong Style Tournament

We have three names to announce for this event:
1. "Last of a Dying Breed" Eddie Kingston - the reigning Strong Style Tournament champion

[image] 2. Too Cold Scorpio

[image] 3. Brent Albright

Just added:

NWA World Women's Title Match

[image] vs. [image]

The NWA World Women's Champion Amazing Kong will take on IWA Mid-South Women's Champion Mickie Knuckles in one of the most requested matches that we have ever had...men's or women's. This will be a hard hitting battle like never seen before in the women ranks. Will "The Walking Episode of Cops" be able to handle being in there with a woman that is so much bigger than her for the first time since she was maybe a rookie? Will all the death matches and wrestling all the boys prove to be more than enough to ready Mickie for the opportunity of a lifetime? What better named show than the Revolution Strong Style Tournament to have this match?

Here are your official results from the IWA vs. ElitePro Best of 7:

1. Jason Hades def. Lucky with the Killswitch to give ElitePro an 1-0 lead. Lucky was subbing for a sick Billy Roc who couldn't make it. Ian yelled at both Lucky and Devon Moore (for saying that Lucky would be a suitable replacement for Billy in the match).

2. Deranged def. Jay Jensen with the pumphandle into the powerbomb to tie the challenge at 1-1.

3. Rob Conway def. Joey "Magnum" Ryan in the FSM match. Ryan did a top rope flying cross body and Conway rolled through and trapped Ryan in an arm lockout submission for the victory.

4. Mickie Knuckles def. Kimberley Kash to give IWA a 2-1 lead with the running shining kick to the face.

Kash Incorporated comes back out to the ring with Night Breed present despite being told to stay away by Ian Rotten. They are out with Dysfunction and Ian comes to the ring. He tells them that they can stay and have a 6 man tag.

5. Dysfunction & Night Breed (Kash Inc.) def. Ricochet, Eddie Kingston & Devon Moore to tie the challenge at 2-2. Devon missed the shooting star press and Dysfunction picked him up and hit the Rubik's Cube for the win. Michael Elgin comes from commentary and gets into the ring and into the face of Eddie Kingston. He challenges Kingston and this brings Roderick Strong to the ring. A pull apart ensues between Kingston and Elgin that eventually leads to Ian saying to hell with it and making it a three way dance on the anniversary show later in the evening between Kingston, Elgin & Roderick.

6. Acid def. Chuck Taylor with the Spanish Fly to give ElitePro a 3-2 advantage in the best of 7

7. The Iron Saints def. Team Taliban with the Pendulum Double Foot Stomp to tie the challenge at 3-3.

8. Brandon Thomaselli def. Ian Rotten to win the challenge 4-3 for ElitePro. Vito stopped Brandon from using brass knuckles and took the knucks and then turned around and blasted Ian with the knucks to give Brandon the win. Sal was not pleased and it led to arguing back and forth and set up a match for Simply the Best - Ian Rotten & Sal Thomaselli vs. Brandon & Vito Thomaselli.

Here are the official results from the 11th Anniversary Show.

1. Chrisjen Hayme def. Ben McCoy with the 450

2. Devon Moore def. Jason Hades, Troy Walters, Lucky, Justin Dredd & Dingo in a 6 way elimination match

3. "Serial Killer" Jack Thriller def. Jimmy Jacobs with a figure four. Jack worked over the knee of Jimmy and applied a figure four for a long time. He then took off Jimmy's knee brace and put him in an STF and then another figure four and Jacobs' tapped.

Ian gave a speech to the crowd thanking Danny Trahan for all the hard work and Jim Fannin for all the loyalty and Mickie Knuckles for being a treasure and Phyllis Hickey for all that she had done for the company. He then addressed the very real possibility that IWA Mid-South will be closing its doors on December 7th. The debts have gotten too great for both Ian and Jim to be able to continue and in all likelihood, barring a complete change of heart and reversal of fortune, December 7th will likely be the end of the road for IWA Mid-South.

4. Deranged def. Brandon Thomaselli with the pumphandle into the powerbomb.

5. Chuck Taylor def. Ricochet with the Awful Waffle

6. Milwaukee's Best (Dysfunction & Silas Young) def. Josh Abercombie & Mickie Knuckles (subbing for Nate Webb) in a Pinfalls Count Anywhere Match. Josh had put a chair into the back of Dysfunction's shirt and had he on the ring apron set up for a lungblower. Valerie Malone (Silas' valet) grabbed Josh's foot as he was on the ropes and allowed Dysfunction to get the chair out of his shirt and drill Josh in the face knocking him into the ring. Dysfunction then hit the Rubik's Cube for the pinfall.

7. B.J. Whitmer def. C.J. Otis when he knocked him out with a lariat clothesline

8. Jason Dukes def. Ian Rotten to retain the NWA Midwest X Division Title in an old school IWA rules match. This was an all out brawl all over the building that saw both men bleeding profusely. Ian accidentally splashed the referee in the corner and Joey Ryan & Karl Anderson (NWA World Tag Champs) came to the ring to help Dukes. Anderson gave Ian an Irish whip towards Ryan who gave Ian a superkick. Anderson then gave Ian a spinebuster and they set him up for Dukes to hit the moonsault. Anderson & Ryan dragged the ref over to make the count.

9. Eddie Kingston def. Michael Elgin & Roderick Strong in a three way dance. Kingston delivered a spinning backfist to Elgin to get the pinfall.

10. Joey "Magnum" Ryan & Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson def. Iron Saints to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Some "miscommunication" between Vito & Sal throughout the match (accidentally hitting each other) directly led to the Super Kick/Spine Buster combination leading to Sal getting pinned. The Saints argued after the match and Vito walked out alone.

11. Freak Show def. Insane Lane in a Barbed Wire Boards & Barb Wire Bat Match. Show gets the pin with a modified dragon suplex into the barbed wire board set up in the corner. Very bloody matchup.

Drake wins with a Drake's Landing on Scotty on chairs everything so far has been fast paced and Crisp "really good" ... Fannin has been questioning Drake's loyalty to IWA on commentary !?!?!
9:20 - Match 4 - CJ Otis and xOMGx vs "Team Philly" Joker & Devon Moore ... TLC Match with barbwire ropes (TOMFVA note ... Fuck the haters this should be CRAZY) ,.. Devon Moore is wearing shorts and NO SHIRT (another TOMFVA note .. It APPEARS to be Necro/Pondo that have no showed, however keep in mind there is a JCW show tomorrow which is why this show was made for Friday and the girls for Sat.) ... JOKER is Fucking OMG up ... Devon hits a shooting star off the apron onto OMG and a ladder (pic to follow)... Bumpwise/Spotwise this was Match of the Night (so far) Dissention causes distraction that eliminates CJ .. Then Joker brutalizes OMG with a Magnitude Powerbomb thru a table ... Team Philly advances

9:36 - INTERMISSION ....
Received a call apparently Team Philly looked really strong and Joker really was beating up on OMG the entire time ... Not a bad first round

Match 5 - IAN & Insane Lane vs Team Philly ... Stip is FBTW .... All hell is breaking loose .. Joker is bleeding like a "mofo" ... Devon busted a laptop over Ians Head ... Ian and Devon launched Pumpkins at each others heads ... Lane for some reason is yelling "EAT MORE CHICKEN !!" ... Ian hits Devon about 10 times with a Waterjug Bat ... Sickest Headbutt EVER as Devon hits on Ian ... Totally OUT OF CONTROL ... Devon eliminated first after a ridickerous (watch sienfeld bitches) TUBE KICK TO THE FACE !! ... Ian and Lane go over after suplexing joker thru a Huge Lighttube bundle and then ian hits a swanton.

Match 6 - VDOP vs Drake and Shaddix Stip = FBTW
This match is ALSO OUT OF CONTROL .. Drake took a suplex from Deranged onto the ringsteps. Damage pretty much broke Shaddix's jaw ... Drake powerslammed Damage on a chair .... FIREWORKS FIREWORKS Drake Lit Em Chair shot drops Deranged on top of them ... Shaddix is eliminated .. Damage KO's Drake and its over.

10:28 - Clean up etc for the Main Event ... Which is Ian & Insane Lane vs VDOP and the stip is Barbwire Steel Cage FBTW !!

11:10 - I got off the phone with my source and apparently they have hung tubes across the top of the cage (think Ultimate Xish type structure) and are now hanging tubes FROM THOSE tubes

11:20 - Finals are underway (Pic of ring below)
Deranged hits Lane with a Moonsault with tubes off the top ... Lots of blood... Ian is working over Damages Right hand (his KO hand) ...Ian elimnated Deranged with a headbutt ... 1 on 1 for the finals now ... Ian vs Damage ... Ian completely takes out Damages RIGHT Hand ... But looks away for a second then walks right into a vicious LEFT hand for the knockout ... Vulgar Display of Power has won the tournament !!! (11:38pm)

Deranged talks to the camera and says "FUCK YOU ZANDIG" ... Ian on the stick says "my fat ass is full of glass", talking more about December 7th and how he's going to miss the fans

2007 Queen of the Death Matches Results

LuFisto is in the house and guaranteeing that she will not have to compete against Mickie Knuckles this year in order to become the Queen of the Death Matches. She told me that Mickie is scared of her and will fake an injury to avoid a long awaited one on one contest if she doesn't get "upset" first to get knocked out of the tournament.

There is only 6 women to compete in the house. So the matches will be round robin style.

-Barbwire around the ropes/thumbtack death match-
LuFisto def. Roxie Cotton and BB Walls (BB stands for Bad Bitch).

BB Walls was eliminated after a buzzsaw kick from LuFisto.

LuFisto def. Roxie Cotton with an Island Driver (Emerald Fusion) to advance to the winners bracket.

-Barbwire around the ropes/barbwire bats.
Storm def. Misty Heat and Mickie Knuckles

Misty Heat eliminated by a shining Kawada kick by Mickie with a barbwire bat held infront of her face by Storm.

Storm put the bat down Mickie's shirt and hit a kick into the chest with it. Mickie fought back and hit a kick of her own with the barbwire bat held infront of her foot to Storm, below the belt.

Mickie climbs to the middle rope for a Vader bomb on the fallen Storm with the barbwire bat on her. LuFisto comes out and distracts Mickie. Storm hits Mickie in the back with a forearm then hits a huge sitout powerbomb to pin Mickie.

That means it'll be LuFisto vs. Storm in the winners bracket.

-Intermission-

-Barbwire stayed up/Deathmatch bats-
BB Walls vs Mickie Knuckles.

Mickie Knuckles def. BB Walls after a stiff kick to the face with a thumbtack bat infront of it.

-Barbwire stayed up/Barbwire Ladder-
Misty Heat vs. Roxie Cotton

Roxie Cotton def. Misty Heat after an avalanche in the corner with the barbwire ladder followed up with a back senton from the 2nd rope.

-Barbwire 4 Corner of Pain
LuFisto vs Storm

LuFisto def. Storm with a double underhook DDT on a pile of chairs.

-Barbwire Taipei Deathmatch-
Mickie Knuckles vs. Roxie Cotton

Mickie Knuckles def. Roxie Cotton with a wicked palm strike in a hard fought match.

Mickie Knuckles vs. LuFisto for the finals.

-Non Tournament Action/Revolution Strong Style tournament qualifier
CJ Otis vs. Deranged

CJ Otis def. Deranged. Deranged was on the apron and doing running kicks to CJ's head. Hit one then hit a brutal one, on the third one, CJ reversed it into a dragon screw leg whip, causing Deranged to hit his head on the floor, CJ pinned him to get the victory.

-Intermission to set up the no rope barbwire/electrified lightbulbs and electrified lighttubes-

-No rope barbwire/electrified lightbulbs and electrified lighttubes-
Mickie Knuckles vs. LuFisto

LuFisto jumped Mickie before the bell. They've hit each other with the electrified lightbulbs and LuFisto just northern light suplex Mickie through a bunch of tubes. I'm blocked now from the fans standing infront of me but I'll update as soon as possible.

LuFisto just hit a huge knee to the face of a sitting Mickie then she swung a bundle of electrified lightbulbs at her back. Mickie just set up chairs and now they are "bar fighting" with each other. They go back and forth and both level each other with a shot that knocks each other out of the chairs.

LuFisto defeats Mickie Knuckles with a burning hammer through the electrified lighttubes sitting on 2 chairs.

LuFisto is your 2007 Queen of the Deathmatch Champion.

Joliet, IL
1 pm bell time
Tickets: $25, $20 & $15

NWA World Women's Title Match
IWA Newzline Fall 07*UPDATED*(12/7) - Page 2 Th_kong Vs IWA Newzline Fall 07*UPDATED*(12/7) - Page 2 Th_IMG_0110

This match will definitely be a matchup of Simply the Best women wrestlers out there today. This hard hitting contest will be the first encounter between those two and will definitely be a nice preview of what to expect the second time around in Midlothian at the Strong Style Tournament. The NWA World Women's Title will be on the line and neither of these competitors have really ever been in the ring against someone that can compare to when they meet each other for the first time!

Grudge Tag Match
Ian Rotten & Sal Thomaselli vs. Vito & Brandon Thomaselli

This match stems directly from the events that happened at the IWA vs. ElitePro showdown. Vito hit Ian with brass knuckles to give Brandon the win in the match and the series challenge for ElitePro. Sal sided with Ian and that led to "miscommunication" and trouble later in the night as the Iron Saints came up short in their quest to become the NWA World Tag Team Champions. Sal is out to prove that he is "everyone's favorite Thomaselli" and that he is the best Thomaselli.

NWA Midwest X Division Title

Jason Dukes vs. mystery opponent

Ian Rotten issued the challenge for Dukes after Dukes was able to get by with a lot of help from his NWA fans to retain his title at the 11th anniversary show. Who will Ian bring in to give Dukes the beating of his life especially with as bloodied and battered as Ian left Dukes at the 11th anniversary show? Whoever it is, it spells trouble for Jason Dukes.

More information to be posted on this event in the coming days.

If you wish to purchase your tickets in advance for this event to guarantee first row, you can go to www.paypal.com and send your payment to rottenwife@aol.com and the tickets will be held for you at the door and available for pick up will call style when you arrive.

We have talked with the building in Plainfield and worked out a deal with the volleyball players and have switched dates. We will now be having the show on Friday night, December 7th so that fans and wrestlers will not have to choose between the other shows going on on the 8th. We always try to accomodate our fans/wrestlers and this change of the date will make things easier on everyone. We will also make sure that this show will be IWA Mid-South's 500th show in our history. So this is going to be a huge night for us professionally and personally.

Friday Night, December 7th, 2007 - SHOW #500
Capital Sports Center
1915 Gladden Road
Plainfield, IN
8 pm Bell Time - Doors Open at 7 pm
Ticket prices are $30 front row; $25 second row; $20 bleachers

Main Event - Ian Rotten's Retirement Match

Ian Rotten vs. Mickie Knuckles

Ian's career has spanned 17 years and he has traveled the world and wrestled in such companies as ECW, USWA and Global that gave him television exposure and helped build his name. He started IWA Mid-South 11 years ago when he moved to Kentucky after he fell in love with Patti. This will mark the end of an era as he wrestles his final match and who better to face in that match than his final student that graduated the Ian Rotten Wrestling School. Ian and Mickie have had many memorable matches in more than just IWA Mid-South but I don't think anyone will forget the 2003 TPI or the 2006 KOTDM or even the match after that in Streamwood. This one is going to be something to remember even more than those other matches as Ian has promised to bring the house down on his final night inside a wrestling ring. Hopefully everyone will come out and support IWA Mid-South and give Ian a great sendoff into retirement.

4 Way Elimination IWA World Heavyweight Title Match

Mike Quackenbush vs. Chris Hero vs. Chuck Taylor vs. Eddie Kingston

Mike Quackenbush is out of action until December due to the concussion suffered at 2007 TPI. This will be his first or one of his first matches back in action. Of course, there are plenty of issues with Mike Quackenbush and Chuck Taylor dating back to the last IWA Deep South show and then the 2007 TPI. Quack also has lots of issues with his former friend Chris Hero. That feud developed in Chikara and neither man has fully forgiven the other since their split. Eddie Kingston would love nothing more than to defeat his mentor and trainer in Quack. Quack will have his hands full in this one as he'll have to outlast each competitor. The hatred between Kingston and Hero was obvious to anyone that saw the 2007 TPI and this one should be that much more brutal and heated now that the IWA World Heavyweight title is on the line. This could definitely be a show stealer and match of the year candidate for IWA Mid-South right at the end of the year.

Also appearing on this show...
Former WWE/ECW/WCW Superstar - Sandman!!!!
Too Cold Scorpio

The stars are coming out in full force for this event to be a part of this special night as IWA celebrates its 500th show and Ian Rotten's retirement all wrapped up into one. Make sure you join us for this huge party!

Tickets are on sale right now for this event.

IWAMS Newz

Simply the Best 8

Sunday afternoon, November 4th, 2007
Hartman Recreational Center
511 N. Collins Street
Joliet, IL
1 pm bell time
Tickets: $25, $20 & $15

JUST ADDED
NWA Midwest X Divison Title
Jason Dukes vs. Corporal Robinson

Ian Rotten issued the challenge for Dukes after Dukes was able to get by with a lot of help from his NWA fans to retain his title at the 11th anniversary show. Ian has decided that it will be Corporal Robinson and Dukes is in for another hellacious beating.

Eddie Kingston vs. Michael Elgin

This match stems from the confrontation the last time in Joliet, Illinois. These two faced off with Roderick Strong in a three way dance but this time it will be one on one and Michael Elgin is out to prove that there is a new king in the IWA Mid-South strong style division leading into the Strong Style Tournament in a few weeks in Midlothian.

C.J. Otis vs. Deranged

This is quickly turning into a heated feud. C.J. Otis called himself "The Death Match Destroyer" after competing in Kings of Extreme and well quite frankly, that pissed Deranged the f*ck off. C.J. Otis a "Death Match Destroyer" after 2 death matches? Well since he is also the "Strong Style Superman", Deranged decided that we would become the "Strong Style Kryptonite" and kick C.J.'s ass the first chance he got. They tore into each other with a vengeance at the QOTDM in an outstanding match. C.J. got the win and the spot in the SST tournament. Deranged is looking for redemption and he definitely wants to see "somebody die tonight" and that somebody is C.J. Otis.

Ash vs. Devon Moore

Josh Abercrombie vs. Jason Hades

Also appearing, The Naptown Dragons, Milwaukee's Best and more.

If you wish to purchase your tickets in advance for this event to guarantee first row, you can go to www.paypal.com and send your payment to rottenwife@aol.com and the tickets will be held for you at the door and available for pick up will call style when you arrive.
