First off I just want to say that I wouldnt even bother writing an open statement such as this without good reason. Usually PWU owner Tod Gordon puts out a monthly "From the Desk of..." open statement to the press bringing everyone up to speed on the lastest PWU happenings leading into the upcoming event. This month, however, Tod has literally been so boggled down with PWU related business and at the same time infuriated and frustrated by the mockery that Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse attempted to make of him on his ICP Witching Hours radio show recently. After listening to the ICP's radio show, I have a few comments I'd like to make public to the wrestling press, fans, and most importantly to ICP and the rest of Juggalo Championsh*t Wrestling.
When I first heard that the Clown Posse and JCW were coming to Pro Wrestling Unplugged I was naturally excited about it. I figured it would be a good pairing and we could all prosper off the added media attention that this partnership would bring with it. Almost instantly, however, things began falling apart. The Violent J. turn on Corporal Robinson at the last event was shocking to everyone in the PWU locker room that was watching live on the jumbo-screen. That single incident changed the course of Pro Wrestling Unplugged. Suddenly our main focus went from the evolution of true "Tag Team wrestling" to the crazy world of Juggalo Wrestling?! That right there is enough to make a tag team specialist like myself catch feelings.
Lets put all that aside for a moment. Recently ICP has been promising that "A Major surprise superstar from Tod Gordon's past will be in the house on December 16th and Tod aint gonna like it one bit". I believe those were ICP's exact words. In an effort to sort through this confusion, Tod Gordon was asked to be a guest this past Tuesday night on Violent J.'s radio show on
http://www.insaneclownposse.com . As Tod was introduced, Violent J had an audio clip played saying "youre an a$$hole", which Tod was unaware of. So basically, every time they referred to Tod on this radio show they had some kind of cute bull$hit playing over his voice that made a mockery out of a respectable business man. Of course, Tod couldnt hear these little blurbs as he was on the air so he was completely unable to respond to them. What an ambush! As i sat listening to this interview taking place and as I heard Tod being made a fool something snapped inside me, things had just escalated to yet another level. WTF is going on? Time for me to get in touch with Tod and Corp asap and figure out what we are going to do about this situation. I knew we had to rid PWU of this "Juggalo Epidemic" before its too late so we can return to our true and destined course.
Tod, flustered as can be over this nonsense, has informed myself today via email that the main event is now set for this Saturday night for "PWU vs JCW". Tod has decided that this will be a six man tag, pitting team PWU vs team JCW. Team JCW will consist of VIOLENT J, SHAGGY 2 DOPE, and 2 Tuf Tony. Team PWU will consist of Corporal Robinson and The BackSeat Boyz. How I may feel personally about Tod Gordon being the new owner of PWU is irrelevant at this point, all that matters is that we defend what is ours. Trent Acid and myself pledge our allegiance to PWU, the place that we built along with our teammate Corporal Robinson. You can rest assured that all three of us will be bringing our most dangerous, sadistic, and intense mind sets with us this Saturday as we give the Juggalos a surprise of our own.
In order to control this chaos, Tod has hired a private professional security force for this Saturday night. In additoin to the added secutiry, PWU's own security will be on hand. The additional parking lot will be opened and patrolled all night for the fans to park and have the piece of mind of knowing their vehicles are safe and secure. And finally, to further cater to our fans needs, Tod has established a special ticket option for this Saturday where fans can choose to sit in a "PWU ONLY" section where they wont be forced to even rub elbows with the "Juggalos".
