CAMERA OPERATOR/EDITOR in search of experience *PLEASE READ*

Forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong forum. I'm sort of new to this, so bare with me. I'm a 23-year-old camera operator/editor looking for more hands-on experience. I recently started attending PWU (fantastic show) and saw that you videograph and edit your shows. Well, I'd really like to be a part of that. PWU is exactly what I've been looking for; exciting, fast-paced hands-on experience....

Which brings me to the big pitch. I haven't been formally trained; however, I am not without experience. I've produced, shot and edited three short films and a music video using my own equipment (two JVC GZ-MG130 HDD digital video camcorders, one JVC GR-D750 MiniDV camcorder, one makeshift steady-cam rig, and edited on Pinnacle DV 8 digital editing software). My last two short film projects (Severed, Slipping Away) were shown public ally on two separate occasions and were met with high praise. My work can be seen on either Youtube....

And, as I said, I edited all my video projects using fairly sophisticated consumer editing programs, such as the Pinnacle DV editing programs, and minimal experience with Adobe Premiere.

I totally agree. And, hey, I've got a fairly expansive Nine Inch Nails collection (LP, CD, CS, VHS, DVD, and so on), so if you're looking for something special, let me know. Like, I make tapes of my vinyl collection for friends - The Fragile has two bonus tracks, some extended tracks, and a shortened edit of Ripe - so if you're interested, just whistle.

I just don't know many people that like NIN.
