No More Sabato?

Derek Sabato Out of PWU?

The DOI has found out that former CZW ref turned PWU ref, Derek Sabato, is most likely no longer with the company. Sabato showed up for the 10/27 PWU show only to be "no-sold" by PWU management. Sabato, who was on every PWU show since leaving CZW earlier this year, had no prior knowledge that PWU planned to dump him until show-time.

As expected, Sabato didn't bother going to the 11/3 PWU event.

As far as possibly coming back to PWU, it seems that will be a PWU decision, although Sabato is booked for Chikara on 11/17, the next time PWU runs.

This really sucks. I always thought Derek was one of the best refs around. It especially sucks the way they did to him too. Why not tell the guy ahead of time that you aren't going to use him anymore?

I guess it's better than showing up, reffing, and then getting stiffed on pay though.
